Skylight allignment

    I have an enclosed patio roof with (44) skylight panels (see sample).

    The issue is that I cannot allign them except for use of drag – which is terribly imprecise.

    Nudge (arrow buttons) do not function and there are no options for allign or distribute.

    (1) Is there a way to allign the skylights (top/bottom) edges?

    (2) Is there a way to distribute (or at least allign or add fixed distance) the skylights (left/right) edges?

    Hi, you can use the line tool to create a grid system you can snap to.

    Go to tools>layout>line
    select the skylight to snap and drag/move them  to align with each other on your grid system.

    Thanks, I’ll git it a try (again). I tried this before, but tried to snap the skylight ‘corner’ to the line, which did not work so well w/nudge. Perhaps some of the snap tools need to be turned off (e.g. collision). Worth a try. 🙂
