Trim doesn’t automatically wrap around exposed wall edges. If you’d like it to continue, you can add a small return or separate trim piece at the wall end (similar to a baseboard return).
Another option is to use the material paint/eyedropper tool to match the exposed edge to the wall finish for a clean, finished look.
