Using Dual Monitors

    So I have Envisioneer Construction Suite installed on my laptop with a 32 ” monitor connected acting as a second monitor

    with the laptop as monitor 1 and 32″ monitor as 2. I would like to have 2d model view on laptop with 3d view on 32″ monitor so while I

    draw in model view on laptop I can view in 3d on 32″ monitor.  Any suggestions on how to achieve?

    Now that I’d like to have to,

    Don’t think it’s possible though.

    You can have a couple worksheet views open but i don’t know of a way that works for model view.

    Anything’s possible in Envisioneer (no, not quite yet, but this is.)
    In View Manager ensure you have 2 Model Views defined & NO worksheets displayed.
    WINDOW pull down – TILE OPEN VIEWS
    Now resize your Envisioneer window to stretch across both screens.
    Rearrange your tiled views as required.
    I don’t use the tabbed interface so can’t comment how that works under these conditions

    YMMV

    will depend on screen sizes & resolutions involved

    That’s awesome, can’t believe i didn’t know that before this. i use the cascade windows for my floor plans in worksheet view but never knew you could do it with model view. This was a great tip to start off a new week. 🙂

    In a previous configuration I had a tower driving 3 screens, 19″ + 2x 24″, all portrait mode

    Another tip for multiple monitors:

    Your Catalogue pane can be undocked & floated on an adjoining screen, providing additional drawing area.
